These are some of my very favorite verses. It is so amazing that we gain the power of spirit, and peace in our spirit from the same wonderful place, Our Lord Jesus Christ.
2 Corinthians 12:9
But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.
Romans 5:1
Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
2 Timothy 1:7
For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.
1 Corinthians 1:3
Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Colossians 3:15
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.
